raamakalee mahalaa panjavaa rutee saloku

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ikOankaar satigur prasaadh ||
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਕਰਿ ਬੰਦਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਾਛਉ ਸਾਧਹ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
kar ba(n)dhan prabh paarabraham baachhau saadheh dhoor ||
Bow to the Supreme Lord God, and seek the dust of the feet of the Holy.
ਆਪੁ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਜਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
aap nivaar har har bhajau naanak prabh bharapoor ||1||
Cast out your self-conceit, and vibrate, meditate, on the Lord, Har, Har. O Nanak, God is all-pervading. ||1||
ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਕਾਟਣ ਭੈ ਹਰਣ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥
kilavikh kaaTan bhai haran sukh saagar har rai ||
He is the Eradicator of sins, the Destroyer of fear, the Ocean of peace, the Sovereign Lord King.
ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੀਤ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੨॥
dheen dhiaal dhukh bha(n)jano naanak neet dhiaai ||2||
Merciful to the meek, the Destroyer of pain: O Nanak, always meditate on Him. ||2||

Shalok:
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਮੁਈ ਕਰਤੀ ਕਰਮ ਅਨੇਕ ॥
saadhasa(n)gat bin bhram muiee karatee karam anek ||
Without the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, one dies wandering around in confusion, performing all sorts of rituals.
ਕੋਮਲ ਬੰਧਨ ਬਾਧੀਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਰਮਹਿ ਲੇਖ ॥੧॥
komal ba(n)dhan baadheeaa naanak karameh lekh ||1||
O Nanak, all are bound by the attractive bonds of Maya, and the karmic record of past actions. ||1||
ਜੋ ਭਾਣੇ ਸੇ ਮੇਲਿਆ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਭੀ ਆਪਿ ॥
jo bhaane se meliaa vichhoRe bhee aap ||
Those who are pleasing to God are united with Him; He separates others from Himself.
ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਵਡ ਪਰਤਾਪੁ ॥੨॥
naanak prabh saranaagatee jaa kaa vadd parataap ||2||
Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of God; His greatness is glorious! ||2||
