The Gurdwara of Rochester will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary on May 18th and May 19th. We are very excited to come together as a community to celebrate our faith and heritage. This historic milestone for our Gurdwara is a testament to the enduring strength and resilience of the Sikh community in Rochester. We request the sangat to fully participate in this auspicious occasion.

Saturday, May 18th | Punjabi Mela 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Authentic Punjabi food by Amaya Indian Cuisine, Children’s Activities, Bhangra/Giddha Performances, Folk Singing, Traditional Punjabi Games, Sikh Heritage Display, Turban Tying & Mehndi. There will also be clothing and jewelry vendors.
Sunday, May 19th | Kirtan Diwan and Langar
11:30-12:00 p.m. Tea and Snacks
12:00-1:00 p.m. Melodious Kirtan by Bhai Dhanna Singh Ji Ludhiana Wale and Jatha. Bhai Ji is very well known and an accomplished Ragee who has performed kirtan at Darbar Sahib, Amritsar and Dukh Niwaran Sahib, Patiala.
1:00-1:15 p.m. Recognition of founding members and special guests
1:15 p.m. Bhog followed by Langar
